Education
Wizard International is committed to helping our customers be the best in their business. Besides innovation and service, education is a key component in providing solutions to custom framers. Because a majority of custom framers use our CMC and software products, we want to provide education to make sure our customers reap the greatest advantage from their Wizard products. Wizard University was developed to focus on the educational resources that will give our customers ideas, expertise, and confidence in their respective businesses.
As examples, the articles here are one resource. Some show ideas for decorative mats you might use every day. Other articles explain more about the artistic side of the Wizard. Each article takes you step by step through these projects so you understand the features in MatDesigner you'll need to create these mats efficiently. The software manual explains all these features, too, but the project oriented approach of these articles explains the features in the context of a particular design. When you are finished you are more likely to understand the feature better, because you have used it in a practical application.
At conventions there will be Wizard University classes and booth presentations on subjects like getting started with Wizard software products or designing custom mats with Wizard CMCs. They offer a chance for individual attention to your questions and requests.
There will be more Wizard University hands on training classes throughout the year. They are held in computer labs around the country. Each person works on their own computer and classes are limited to 15 participants. In the past the classes have been general training on MatDesigner software. This year they will be on more specific subjects to include our new software products too.
One of a framer's biggest competitive advantages lies in the ability to impress customers with unique matting. Look over these articles. Whether you want to cut more interesting V-Grooves or you want a better understanding of the tools for multiple openings, you will find the resources of Wizard University will help you be creative and profitable.
Sincerely,
Brian Wolf, CPF, CGF
